Birds for Your Brains

A study published in Environmental Psychology found that people who have nature-based experiences report better wellbeing and lower psychological distress than those who do not. Birdwatching -- one of the most popular outdoor activities across age groups -- in particular, promoted personal wellbeing and reduced stress.

So, get out there and enjoy the beauty, behavior, and diversity of our birdlife. It's fun and healthy!
